Publication Process

All manuscripts submitted to Pakuan Management Studies Review undergo a structured and rigorous editorial and peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and academic contribution of published articles.

Upon submission, manuscripts are first evaluated through an initial screening by the editorial team to assess their alignment with the journal’s scope and formatting requirements. Manuscripts that do not meet the criteria may be desk-rejected at this stage.

All submissions are then subject to a plagiarism check to ensure academic integrity. Manuscripts that pass this stage proceed to a double-blind peer review process, in which at least two independent reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its theoretical contribution, methodology, clarity, and relevance.

The review process typically takes approximately 2 to 8 weeks, depending on reviewer availability and the complexity of the manuscript.

Based on reviewers’ comments, the editorial team makes a decision: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject. Authors are required to revise their manuscripts accordingly and resubmit within the specified timeframe.

Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting and layout editing to ensure consistency and readability. Authors will receive a proof version for final checking prior to publication.

Finally, the article is published in the scheduled issue and made available through the journal’s open-access platform.
